Director of Operations


As the key relationship owner and support contact to the branch network, enable the performance and growth ambitions of our branch network and managers, maximize the performance of the network and ensure the delivery of service, quality and value to our customers.



  • Lead the development and skillful implementation of new programs, processes and systems to drive network performance, elevate key performance metrics, improve customer service and engage branch staff.
  • Ensure excellence in project management, change management, communication, and roll-out plans to ensure programs and processes are implemented skillfully and flawlessly and enhance network capabilities and synergies across the branch network.
  • Develop strategy for new/adjacent products and offerings at branch and new verticals
  • Identify and execute opportunities to optimize the relationship between the branch network and the Corporate Office to ensure service and operational excellence.
  • Ensure value add systems and processes such as SOP, CRM, Dayforce, etc. are leveraged to maximize financial and operational outcomes at the branch.
  • Ensure procurement opportunities and processes are optimized to ensure preferred rates and optimal service associated with materials, equipment, branch expenses and supplier relationships.
  • Oversee new branch setups, renovations, relocations and the integration of acquired branches to minimize operational disruption and accelerate time to performance.
  • Implement Lean Six Sigma process optimization across entire network
  • Ensure all operational support SLAs are met for L1, L2, and L3 support
  • Ensure New Branch openings, Branch re-locations, Branch Refreshes are on time and on budget


  • Proven experience overseeing operations of 100+ consumer-facing locations.
  • Previous operating responsibility for a business of similar size and complexity.
  • Multi-site, multi-Province operational experience with the ability to adapt to a more fluid branch model versus one requiring conformation to rigid standardization.
  • Experience with Omni channel operations with an understanding of the interdependency of physical and online presence.
  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen and capacity to skillfully manage staffing, capacity, ROI, budget, margins, service and product offerings to implement and drive strategic and relevant operational outcomes.
  • Detailed understanding of the business economics and organizational dynamics of service delivery in a small group and footprint setting.
  • Ability to navigate the leadership and people skills needed to manage a complex group of small operating units along with a strong operating discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships to enhance the quality and effectiveness of service.
  • Advanced relevant education (MBA, etc. desired).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
